On Tuesday, March 22  - Two  culinary  teams  from the West Bend High School under the direction of Sally Heuer will compete in the ProStart Invitational.    Meadow Creek Elk Farms is proud to have donated the meat for one of  teams who  will be  preparing  "Elk Medallions" as part of their three course meal that will be judged by a panel of culinary experts.

On Friday, May 1, Meadow Creek Elk Farms is proud to be  on the menu for the Schlitz Audubon Center's 2009 Spring Gala .  The gourmet menu for the evening will  feature locally grown sustainable products.     Owner, Chef Scott Schully will prepare Meadow Creek's farm-raised  elk tenderloin.

CAFE SOEURETTE, WEST BEND          

On Saturday, May 2, Meadow Creek Elk Farms participated  in "Wisconsin Game Night" at Cafe Soeurette. Owner and chef Jodi Janisse  featured Meadow Creek's farm-raised elk on the special menu featuring  local foods.  Jodi strongly believes in building community and supporting local business.  Cafe Soeurette is located in downtown West Bend at 111 N. Main St.

MEADOW CREEK AT LEDGE VIEW NATURE PRESERVE

 

On Saturday, September 16, 2006, Meadow Creek Elk Farms was proud to supply elk tenderloin to the Eastern WI Sustainable Farmers Network for their Fall Food Festival.

 Executive Chef Steven Hilfer prepared an elegant meal, including Bleu cheese rusted farmed-raised elk filets with caramelized onion and grilled Portobello mushrooms.
